I like being able to easily cover my toothbrush when I travel. Other lids are tighter and there is no way to open them to clean them. This capsule opens and allows you to get in and clean it if there is toothpaste residue or water stains on it. It comes with some kind of chemical antimicrobial tablet, but since I don't want to be exposed to chemicals or worried about the smell, it was easy to pull and remove from the case. This pod is also big enough to hold larger or round toothbrushes, not just the cheaper complimentary toothbrushes you get from a dentist. Such a simple design, a wonderful hairpin principle creation. I like it!
