Review on PAC AAI-HD3 14-Pin Auxiliary Input for Honda/Acura 2003-2012 - Satellite or CD Changer Integration by Dave White

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great AUX connection for older Honda models

I installed this on a 2006 Honda Accord SE with a 6 CD changer. Comes with all the parts I needed for the installation. I used a plastic bike tire tool to remove the dash pieces instead of buying orange dash removal tools. You need plastic tools to disassemble the dashboard; I watched a YouTube video to understand how to disassemble the dashboard. I spent most of my time drilling a hole in the back of the dash CD holder so I could thread the end of the cable connector. I wanted an external auxiliary box instead of a cable coming out of the dash as in my experience the cable connected to the audio jack is the first thing to fail. You will need a 1/4" stereo RCA cable to connect your phone or device to this box. There is no way to attach the box to the CD holder. I used double sided sticky foam which works great.

Pros
  • Aux in adapter for some Acura and Honda factory radios
Cons
  • Annoying
