Handle too smooth for soap sticks

They look exactly like the picture. What we don't like is that the grip becomes too slippery when lathering your hands. You need some kind of fixation on them. I bought these for my husband who had hip surgery and cannot bend over. He dropped them in the shower several times because they were too slippery. For those who can't bend down to wash, I'd also look for a longer handle; They're just too short for the purpose.
