Talk about a budget curling iron! This curling iron works very well since it only costs $12. There is no way to set the temperature, just an on/off button. However, it is quite hot and curled my hair well. My hair is thick and goes a few inches below my shoulders. The wand has a shorter end but suits my hair length. Well, if you had longer hair - I think it might be a bit harder to put it all on one stick. It heats up in under a minute and is great when you're trying to rush and do some quick waves/curls. The description mentions that it gets up to 400 degrees so keep that in mind. It's also a curling iron, not so much a curling iron as the curling iron has a plate that holds your hair in place while it curls. Is it mentioned that it can also frizz hair? I'm not sure how it would achieve this style without a plate. It also doesn't have an auto shut off so I'm a bit nervous as I'm quite forgetful. All in all, this is a good budget WAND curler that gets the job done.
