I hated the thought of buying a new remote but my old one died quickly and no amount of new batteries could bring it back to life. I honestly had a panic attack at the thought of programming. I've done this before and it was incredibly frustrating for me and I figured I'd have the same problem this time. I wasn't ready for a miracle. But I did it myself. First try. no sweat As you'd expect, there was a paper insert with a little printed guide to look up your TV model and try to guess which of the codes to try first. But this remote also has an amazing solution. There is a label on the back of the device that will guide you through three steps to get it working correctly with your TV and cable box. TA Dah! It works out. And I did it myself.
