As already mentioned, this brewing unit is well made, relatively easy to clean and very functional. As an engineer and tea lover, I appreciate this simple yet functional design. The dense mesh is ideal for rooibos and other fine teas, but also works well with larger green tea leaves. I drink my tea in tall glass mugs (beer mugs I think) and it's perfect for her. If you want to make more tea, I found that you can also hang it in an 8-cup Pyrex measuring cup. This works well when I'm brewing a gallon of tea to put in the ice tea fridge.
