Pretty straightforward, easy to install and works well. The automatic sensor is EXTREMELY sensitive, it beeps almost constantly for EVERYONE on the road! Because of this, it is a useless feature. I just turned it off and use it without the auto sensor. The device is quite heavy as it puts a strain on my rearview mirror it is attached to, requiring me to constantly readjust it. The card slot is on the top of the device instead of the bottom, which is inconvenient and requires long nails or tweezers to insert or remove the card. Another issue is that the lenses are fisheye, which makes images look like they're three times further away than they actually are, which can be dangerous. The last problem is that you can't use it as a normal rearview mirror because the glass is too dark. You should have a top or bottom mount to attach this device to the top or bottom of your regular rearview mirror instead of on top of it. In addition, it works very well. It has crisp, clear images and I sometimes use the rear view as a backup. Is it worth the money? Compared to the price of other DVRs, yes. If you're looking for a cheap DVR with a large display, then this might be what you're looking for.
