Used to record our church service and wanted something low so a regular tripod wouldn't get in the way if we ever go to church again. Giving 4 stars because we think the gooseneck is a bit wobbly and very easy to bend and lose its position. The tripod itself is very solid and stable enough for a smartphone. I would put a DSLR on this thing unless the base is wide open and not full height. Otherwise we were happy with the purchase.
