
I bought my original Stylus Pro Pen Light in 2016 and it lasted a decent couple of years before it suddenly started having problems when it stopped glowing, albeit not much shaking. It acted like the spring in the battery compartment was weak and no longer making good contact to hold the batteries firmly and in place for proper operation. I thought that 4 good years of a $20 flashlight would be enough to write it off and buy a new one. I bought a new flashlight of the same model in October 2020, just a different color and in less than 8 months I'm already having the same intermittent problems, this time much more frequently when the light is turned off unless shaken vigorously. hit hard or on something hard. Unfortunately the spring is at the bottom of the lamp housing so I don't have anything small and long enough to hook it in and try to expand it again to see if that fixes the situation. I've tried calling Streamlight Support multiple times during normal business hours, only to get a "leave your message after the beep" response. I don't like talking to an answering machine. I prefer to talk to a live person to resolve this issue. I hate giving a bad review but now it's 2 units with the same issue and less than acceptable customer support.
