Scrap after two months

I like this flashlight because it's small enough to put both hands in my mouth. The problem is in the on/off switch. I bought it on 06/07/2019. Now, on August 3rd, it ends up in the trash. As with the one I bought in January, the switch failed. Honestly, I carry it in my bag every day. But two months? For this price? Not one, but TWO EXACTLY identical flashlights? . Never again?. Looking for another lamp to buy like me.

I am shocked that Streamlight continues to produce what appears to be a defective light with the infamous tail switch failure. I thought, of course, that the reviews I read were sporadic here and there. Spring. Here I am, having owned this light for about 6 months and the rear derailleur is defective. I have other Streamlight products that work fine. I will definitely not be buying from them again. I have a cheap port charge lamp that I replaced at work. I had to retire the cargo light for 1/4โ€ฆ

Return. Will be updated if the replacement works properly

The product was defective when shipped. Due to the packaging, you have to pretty much destroy the box to get the flashlight, which hopefully isn't a problem with Revain. The problem is specific to some other reviewers: the flashlight just doesn't work on batteries and fully assembled. The light comes on/flickers as I unscrew the cap, but once it's there the flashlight is completely dead. It speaks to a lack of craftsmanship and quality control to me. I'm trying to replace it through Revain andโ€ฆ

Defective out of the box

Bad straight out of the box. The power button is very hard to press, the light doesn't even come on. It looks like bad contacts because if you unscrew the battery cover, the light will flash as you unscrew it. The power button has a removable rubber cap. The button is normally pressed WITHOUT a rubber cap, but screw the cap back on and it's a beast to press. The cap looks good, no obstacles, so I assume that's how it should be. If so, I don't want to have to press that button multiple times aโ€ฆ

Another WINNER Streamlight!

I've been a Streamlight fan for a few years. I've had 2 models using individual AAA batteries which I can't live without all the time. So much light for such a small device. Both were EXTREMELY reliable. When the switch goes "fancy" I just unscrew the cap and give a quick shot of WD-40 and it's like new again. NOW I have 2 AAA batteries. Execution. Just like the little ones, only MUCH brighter. Still very light so I can just keep it in my mouth when I don't have a free hand. The switch on theโ€ฆ

Worth the price

This light has a high quality finish and feel. The body is solid. There's nothing cheap about that. The beam is super bright 90 lumens. It even comes with a mesh belt pouch and 2 AAA Energizer batteries. Now let's compare it with the Coast G20: Pros of the Stylus Pro: - Brightness (90L vs. 36L) - Pure white beam, while G20 has a slightly bluish tint. compact (relatively both are compact) - you can turn on the light without clicking on it - comes with batteries G20 advantages: - a closed circleโ€ฆ

I have a patch for the switch

I have been using Streamlight products for about 15 years or more. I trust the brand. But this new light came as a surprise because I've read so many complaints about it. I, too, suffered from broken lights that "won't turn on". I returned one of them hoping the new one I bought would work. Unfortunately, that doesn't work either when I press the rubber switch on one end. I found a solution tonight. Try this: I unscrewed the cover (which gives access to the battery compartment). The light goes out / cannot contact tech support

I bought my original Stylus Pro Pen Light in 2016 and it lasted a decent couple of years before it suddenly started having problems when it stopped glowing, albeit not much shaking. It acted like the spring in the battery compartment was weak and no longer making good contact to hold the batteries firmly and in place for proper operation. I thought that 4 good years of a $20 flashlight would be enough to write it off and buy a new one. I bought a new flashlight of the same model in Octoberโ€ฆ

Economical Functionality Simplicity and ergonomics

I have to admit that I appreciate a good flashlight. The Streamlight Stylus Pro is great, not perfect but great. Typical Streamlight quality construction. The solid adonized blue finish is a superb, long-lasting and eye-catching blue color. The overall build quality is without question a 5 or 5. The threads on the back cover are correct, however it should be noted that when unscrewing or unscrewing the back cover to insert new batteries care must be taken to remove the pocket clip to avoidโ€ฆ
