Review on 💡 Streamlight 66122 Stylus Pro 100-Lumen LED Penlight, Blue, Includes 2 AAA Alkaline Batteries by Paul Dobson

I have been using Streamlight products for about 15 years or more. I trust the brand. But this new light came as a surprise because I've read so many complaints about it. I, too, suffered from broken lights that "won't turn on". I returned one of them hoping the new one I bought would work. Unfortunately, that doesn't work either when I press the rubber switch on one end. I found a solution tonight. Try this: I unscrewed the cover (which gives access to the battery compartment). I grabbed the feather and stretched it about 1/1/2 half the length. I screwed the cap back on, the light now comes on without incident. I am not an engineer but this tells me that there is a fault in the spring of this light, the function of the spring outside the package does not exert enough pressure. on the mechanism against the battery. By tensioning the spring it now puts enough pressure on the batteries where the light is now working. I'm glad my light is working now and I can enjoy using this flashlight the way it's supposed to work.
