I am giving 2 stars because it is a very powerful food processor. Very easy to use. I would have liked it if the cleaning wasn't a disaster. I'M SERIOUS! You will agree with me and after the first application you will understand what I am talking about. You still don't want to put everything in the dishwasher because I GUARANTEE everything will come out and something will be stuck in some parts that the dishwasher can't pull out and clean. There are too many gaps in each component that are IMPOSSIBLE to clean unless you spend an hour cleaning them (like me) after each use (regardless of what you use them for). I've had to maneuver around with toothpicks and toothbrushes in hard-to-reach places to try and clean things that got stuck in there AFTER EVERY USE. I'm sure for the price of this food processor they should be able to do it. with better quality and more convenient than now. With many of those unreachable gaps I speak of, I'm sure they can spend a little more plastic to fill them without sacrificing performance. (I say that because I have a 15 year old mini processor that was made with a much more thoughtful design than this one). I've tried chopping veggies with it. It's okay, I'm not fine. First I had to cut the vegetables into small pieces to fit in the loading tube. Then he leaves behind a large piece of uncut vegetables. It really has already defeated the entire purpose of the food processor! When it comes to cleaning, I'm sure it's much faster and more convenient for me to just use a knife and cutting board instead. I tried using them for processing meat. This is very good, strong, very strong! He was able to turn the meat into a very pasty texture. BUT! When it comes to cleaning, all you can do is cry and spend the next hour trying to get everything out of inaccessible crevices! When it arrived there were 2 hair stains on the bowl (not sure if these are tears). . I ignored it as I could tell it was brand new and fairly high quality gear. I hoped for the best. Unfortunately the quality is not what I expected. After several tests, a small piece of plastic on the driveshaft broke off. It didn't affect performance as it was still running. This small piece of plastic should now be in the stomach of one of my family members. I had no idea when it broke.
