This is an excellent and very thick product. I installed Gila window film which I bought from Lowes on 8 windows. They seem to wear out after about a year so I tried this brand. I found this film easier to install and much thicker. It took two people to prepare as my wife had to remove the protective film while I was holding the film. We used a Gila window film spray bottle I had on hand instead of soapy water. Gila GTA002 Window Film Application Solution, 16 fl. oz Due to its thickness, it is also important to have a sharp razor blade to cut the film. I used the product from the Gila kit to smooth it out and get rid of the bubbles. Here's a shot of the two windows I installed them on in my house. I also did it in 20 degree weather and they held up great. The label states that you may have problems in cold weather and need to insulate the window. I also took a picture of the outside (I'm painting now, but the focus is on the window film). I would and will buy again. Very happy. I don't normally write extensive Revain reviews.
