I really wanted to use this template. It really helped with the doors and drawers, except for a few key things. The door template requires circles throughout. I didn't like where my lights would be on the doors with the standard 3 inch settings. So I had to use another circle and figure out where the 2nd drill mark would go. I used a drawer template to help with this. It would also be helpful if the templates were supplied with a hole mark. I used a nail but soon found that the nail leaves slightly different marks depending on where in the circle it hits my cabinets. This small difference is noticeable after you drill and install the hardware. For drawers, an adjustable template attached to a ruler helped a lot. Using a tape measure and template was a bit awkward at times. My doors and drawers were freshly painted, so it was impossible to put markers to show the middle of the way. To be honest, this was my first experience installing equipment. I've done a pretty decent job, but I'm seeing flaws in my drilling and subsequent hardware assembly. Overall this was a great product that made my first kitchen renovation a lot easier than if I didn't have one. I would recommend this to everyone. Just make sure your door markers line up perfectly. Mark both points. Drill a small mark, check with the template, adjust, drill the first hole, check with the template, adjust and then drill the last hole. This should alleviate any problems.
