I bought this mainly because I discovered my auto mechanic was trying to trick me into buying a new battery. I bought this device to make sure that the battery is really damaged. But I will say it saved me a hole in my pocket as my battery worked fine. just had to be charged. It has fairly accurate readings and is very easy to use. A good tool for the car owner.
