What I like about this antenna?1. Works well in mountainous terrain even though our radios are within a 10-20 mile radius2. I hooked it up to my 1976 Rotel receiver with no problems3. It's small and unobtrusive - no 6ft cord hanging from the wall4. It was fairly cheap What I don't like: 1. The base is really light. I had a large sheet steel washer that I glued on to give it some weight so it could stand on its own. If you don't have metal to glue to, just go to the garage or buy a large washer about 1-1/2 inches in diameter, put some felt on the underside to keep it from scratching the furniture, and attach an antenna! I actually panned it to see it in the photos and then zoomed in a bit for the second photo. It's quite small and rather unobtrusive. 5 Stars!
