I have been a regular user of Black Diamond headlamps for about 5 years. I used to use a bow too, but I liked the black diamond better. I catch catfish at night at least 3 times a week and often use headlamps. My previous headlamp had died so it was time to buy a new one and I stumbled upon these beads and was very skeptical as I had never heard of them. Also, I really liked the light weight of my previous headlamps and I've never tried one with a strap that goes over my head. Let me just tell you I will never go back! This headlamp is great! The lightest I've ever had and very comfortable! It's super bright, the battery has never let me down even though I took extra just in case. I've used it in the pouring rain and had no problems. And I like the red lens to still see but not attract mosquitoes. You just can't beat this headlamp I tried, especially for the price. I'm sorry black diamond but you've been replaced! I even bought another one for one of my kids when his black diamond died and I am getting 2 more as spares for the rest of the family so they don't feel left out with their very dim headlights compared to the amount of light they put out Lighting. ! I love them and will continue to use the headlamp for fishing, hiking and camping as long as they keep making them!
