After reading the reviews I was a little hesitant to buy it but decided anyway and did. I'm glad I did. I suspect that the manufacturer took note of the feedback and significantly improved their product. It works exactly as it should and the construction seems very solid - I took a good look at it. I've been using it for a while (I have a second large bar of soap) and it seems to be holding up great. I'm still on my first and haven't had any problems at all. Since I have three more, I expect to get by with this for at least a year, if not longer. Also, the scrub works great - it's scrubbing and exfoliating, but it's not too rough at all. I use it on both my face and body and my skin feels smooth and comfortable. It is worth the money and I can only recommend this product. ***** UPDATE 08/29/14 ***** I originally ordered this product on April 8th, 2014 and have been using the first one every day since receiving it two days later. I have to say that this product has already given me my money's worth. Quality issues reported in early reviews have clearly been resolved and my scrub has held up like new for the past four months. This also works very well with large handmade soap bars. Even if the soap gets soft, it holds in and you just get a good lather. I don't often update my reviews, but this product really impressed me. If you're thinking of buying one, don't hesitate - not only does this product work well, it does the job perfectly. Lest you think that I am an endorser of this product, look through all of my reviews and you will see that I am not.
