Well I love mine. Point. I had previously tried another laptop stand/tilt adjuster and didn't like it. This one is amazing in comparison. It consists of three parts and you put them together. I was able to figure it out in a few minutes without instructions, but they also come with instructions. Essentially, the two side pieces fit into grooves around the rubber bumpers of the middle section of the stem. Once you've fully plugged them in (it takes a little effort), it's ready to go. The material is heavy, hard, polished silver metal. There are non-slip bumpers on the bottom and top where the computer is located. I have a large 15.6 inch laptop and mine holds up very securely. Also, it doesn't wobble on my desk surface and sits very flat. There is room under the stand for a keyboard (if you use one) or a stack of paper or whatever you want. On my kitchen table, this seems to keep my computer at a good height for my face. My eye level is only slightly at the top center of the screen, but I'm a small person too. It can also be disassembled if you decide to store it later, although honestly it's not difficult to store fully assembled.
