I have a betta that is starting to lose his vision due to diamond eye. Feeding him used to take a long time and be kind of frustrating because he struggled to find his pellets as they floated away. This ring is amazing for us both, he can quickly and easily find his food, it doesn’t float away from him and I don’t have to spend forever feeding him. The first couple of times we used it I stuck my finger down through it and wiggled it around to draw his attention over and then dropped one pellet at a time to be sure he was getting them all; now he goes straight to the ring to wait for his food because he already has it all figured out. There’s a small lip around the inner edge that the pellets will float out to and I was worried they’d be stuck there but NOPE! he can nibbled them off that little edge easily so don’t worry about that. This is probably one of the most useful things I’ve ever purchased off revain, tbh. If you have a fish with low vision or blind this is a fantastic tool to have.
