After reading the reviews, I was initially reluctant to buy the "22MP Universal High Resolution Film Scanner". . Scanner...โ I have to admit that the instructions are NOT very clearly written. After trying different transformations and carefully studying each item, I began to understand how simple it is. After 15 minutes of experimentation, I captured images up to 5MB in size. Below are my simple instructions. 1. Select the type to convert, slide or negative. 2. Select the medium of your choice, slide or negative. (Each media is labeled "slide" or "negative.") 3. Connect your device to your computer. 4. Insert the memory (where you want your final results to be saved) into the marked slot in the slide view. 5. Press "Scan Menu" button 6.Select which function you want to use (Slide or Negative) 7.Insert the SD card into the back of the main unit. 8.Press after selection the scan menu button.9.You will see a camera image with the options listed below.10.Make a selection, slide or no and hold the "OK" button.11.You will see a blacked out screen when Your selection will be captured.12 Once capturing is complete, press the right arrow on top of the device until you reach "USB MSDC"13 Hold the button until you receive a notification that the image is on the SD card has been captured.14 You can use the same process by plugging the USB end directly into your computer.15 If you want to copy directly to your computer, I suggest creating a folder on your desktop to to facilitate the transfer.
