Review on Anchor Hocking Glass Bistro Pitcher: 64-Ounce Clear Design with White Stopper by Jason Vigil

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A pitcher of bad luck.

Amazing design; clear fluted jar with cherry red lid. A really nice little jug that fits nicely in the fridge door and holds a small amount of juice. However, the problem lies in the implementation of the project. The lid has one function: to keep air out and thus keep the liquid inside fresh. Therefore, the lid must close when you put it on the jar. But that's not the case. Too small. If you turn the jar upside down, the lid will fall off. It is not possible to leave the lid open when pouring, it will fall into your drink. I don't know where the mistake occurred, but somewhere between the drawing board and the final product someone designed a cap that was too small for the bottle neck. Jug. It's actually sad because it's a cute design. I think I'll leave it to serve juice, sort of a gravy boat, to serve gravy, but what I really wanted to do - keep juice or iced tea in the fridge - just doesn't work. Work. If you need a good, tight lid to protect your liquids in the fridge, look elsewhere.
