ringer works very well. Easy to set up, loud, audible anywhere in our ranch home. The receiver can also be plugged into our detached garage about 100-150 feet away. Handy for my mother who had a stroke. There is no option to use the right hand and is limited to the left. She can push or grab, just push the bell.
