I read ALL the reviews before purchasing this bike for an average height 13 month old boy. I was almost shocked by the bad reviews. When I received it I was pleasantly surprised - it's adorable! It's well made, the instructions are in English and assembly couldn't be simpler. The assembly is a screw and they give you a wrench. My grandson LOVES this. As for the reviews of the bike dropping - well it does drop. He is pushed, pulled, pulled and manipulated. Like everything else in the house. If we're to blame, it's not an adorable bike, it's an adorable baby. I don't know how fast he outgrows the bike. The bicycle is not an eternal toy; he will use it, then his little brother will use it. Small size is not a disadvantage of a bike, but a necessary feature of a bike for one-year-olds. There are big bikes for older kids but this one is small for little kids, it's cute and well made.
