All three of my children have a Nintendo 3DS XL, mainly because they lost or accumulated pocket money over several months. But my youngest doesn't have an NFC reader, and of course jealousy of his siblings has shown up more than once. I didn't even know these individual NFC readers existed until I received an email from one of these once-a-day sites. Given the price, I jumped at the opportunity. Although the instructions are entirely in Japanese, they are easy to follow: Point the radio transmitter at the back of the 3DS, switch it on, put on your amiibo, done! My youngest was delighted when it worked smoothly. She was silent about it all day, luckily saying "thank you dad" several times. , it's a much better alternative than paying for a brand new 3DS XL.
