Bought in cream it's attractive and durable, gold and cream go much better than black and gold. In terms of sound quality, if you've heard of or own a Marshall guitar amp, you'll quickly realize that Marshall doesn't actually make one. Trouble is, the louder you play, the better it sounds. At lower volumes, I found myself adjusting the tone almost constantly with every song I played. He doesn't like the "set it and forget it" method. As for the multi-room concept, maybe it would be useful for a multi-room house party, otherwise it's not worth roaming from room to room to listen to music, I wish this unit was more powerful. He will play loud, but he has warts.
