This works fine with my PS4, I was looking for an external hard drive that would work well for my PS4 and read so many reviews that it made me put off by others, I have this on sale and am happy with it. All games loaded on it are amazingly fast, I no longer notice load times for games on SSD. I'll stick with this brand until it burns me. Great value for the storage space it contains, I've added about 20 more games to my system. I used to only have 5 depending on the size as I have the original PS4 500G memory lol, obviously with today's games that wasn't enough. Saw it on sale again and almost bought another one to triple my storage 🤣. Setting up the vault was as easy as deleting it. I suggest you remove it when not in use, the storm broke unexpectedly and due to a power outage almost ruined my device, luckily this is not the case. I simply choose to clear the memory when I'm not using my system before putting it to sleep.
