They were a life saver on a recent flight due to problems with fluid retention in my legs in these situations. They're more comfortable than knee-highs, and I could wear capri pants instead of long pants. Great for summer and great for dresses or skits. However, one stocking had a hole in the toe when I took it off on the first day! But I accidentally washed them in the washing machine, I also accidentally ran the dryer (collecting all my dirty laundry in one place), and they survived! So I put them back on on the long flight home and there was no more damage. I am considering buying them again.
