It didn't take long for my cat to try out the groomer. She obviously likes it.The box contains both screws and adhesive, but I opted to use medium size 3M Command Strips so I could easily remove the comb if needed. Once the units were mounted this way, they are solid.I would recommend removing the comb part and pressing the base onto the wall by itself to get the best adhesion. AND CLEAN THE WALL WITH ISOPROPYL ALCOHOL FIRST! If the cat has been rubbing the area where you are mounting the brush, there will already be plenty of oil and dirt that will cause the tape not to stick.
