I switched from a PC to a new Mac mini and wanted a new raid box for the new system. After searching for many options, the Mini Pro Raid V3 seemed like a good choice. First I had to change the file type of all my files on the PC. I copied the old raid to a 4TB hard drive formatted as XFAT. This new raid box is 1/5 smaller than the old one and very well made. I ordered one with 10TB of storage and prepared it as RAID 1 (mirrored) to copy my 2TB of files onto. The process was very simple and the device assembled perfectly. There was a mistake, all mine! Only one light blinked (hard drive) and I contacted their support team. I immediately received an email with instructions. I HOLD THE RESET BUTTON LONG ENOUGH. A support rep helped me reinitialize the device on a Mac mini (I've never had a Mac) and everything was perfect again. This is a great alternative to a huge RAID enclosure and I'm very happy with it!
