I love this flash! The screen is legible and clear, however it took me some time to read the manual as the English page could use some work. It can be quite a strong flash and HSS works great. I also tried it without the camera and have only shot about 150 times since buying it about a week ago. I can say it hasn't failed or crashed yet, so this looks like a promising purchase. I'll update the info in a few months so you'll know if I like it or not. UPDATE 10/21/2013. Since purchasing this flash I have photographed over a dozen weddings, each lasting over 10 hours. For weddings, I use a Canon 580exII that the chief photographer lent me. I can honestly say that it is on par with Canon in terms of stability and light quality. I actually replaced Canon with Yongnuo when it malfunctioned. There is a difference in build quality but I can't handle it as I'm VERY careful with my gear. One thing I noticed is that the side door of the battery box sticks out a bit and actually popped open when I received it. Others had the same problem too, but I'll fix it with duct tape, so don't sweat it. I still love that flash. I ordered version II so I can start the installation with 3 lights. In general, with the exception of the battery door, no problems. This is a flash on par with the big brands and will save you literally hundreds of dollars.
