Unfortunately this does not work with my Apple Wireless Mouse. If your mouse is different it may work it's a very good mat and I want it to work with my mouse as I have an aluminum mat which is really great for my apple wireless mouse but if it's in my House is not warm, the metal mat becomes icy. I was surprised using the standard pickguard before buying the metal and thought this pickguard would be the same. So that's just my mouse and this mat is fine although the mat is very good.
