We bought one of these to redecorate our bathroom and we were very impressed with the quality. These are not the type of towels that have a short loop on the "velvet" side; They're good old double loop towels. They're also 100% cotton, so unlike cotton-poly blend towels, these Utopia towels tend to be very damp. We bought a color called plum. Please note that plum actually means purple for this brand and based on some other reviews of Utopia brand towels I was expecting purple and we love the colour. It looks great with our shower curtain so we bought a matching set of towels. We also bought the plum colored ones and loved them when they arrived they matched our bath towel perfectly. I have a halfway minor complaint about this towel - well, it's actually a complaint against me. The towel is 70 inches and I am only 61 inches tall. At 62, I doubt I'll grow up, but I hope. On the other hand, my daughter has very long hair and with this voluminous towel she can dry both her body and her hair without using two towels. no more than you would expect from a towel of this density. These towels have NOT lost color with washing. Not only do they not fade, but they also don't transfer color to a light-colored shirt that I accidentally put in the same washing machine.
