My son was in ICU today because the skin on his genitals got caught in a coarse mesh fabric in this swimsuit resulting in a tourniquet injury. It hurts terribly, you know. Thank goodness we were able to get him emergency medical attention quickly or he could end up with a partial amputation. Such injuries are not common, but they do happen. This is particularly frustrating as prevention is very simple: use better stitches with a finer texture inside the garment. Such coarse meshed tissue near the child's genitals can be dangerous! I do not recommend buying this one. Find a higher quality mesh swimsuit with smaller, thinner holes and a softer texture that won't snag on boys' skin.
