I ordered a size up (large) to last until next year because I saw a review that they have a drawstring waist. I got used to it 3 days in a row, everything is fine.

They look good and fit well but the inner mesh lining was very uncomfortable. After my grandson wore them for a few hours, I had to use scissors and cut out the mesh for him.

The material is cheap, the mesh inside is cheap too - my son caused a lot of physical discomfort while wearing it. I feel I shouldn't even give it away as a gift because the item is cheap.

The boy I ordered these for is currently a size 8. I was just about to go up a size to fit but so many people on here have said they run large. This is not my experience. I ordered 8 and they barely fit. They don't come through in the summer. They are good quality and I would order again just a size up.

I ordered a size 14/16 for my son and the tag said they were "14/16" but one of his feet didn't even fit them! And he's super skinny! If I had to guess, I would classify them as a size 8. Do not buy! Dimensions uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!

My son is 54-55 inches, 80 pounds. I ordered Med (10-12) and they go below his knees. Otherwise I like the style and the quality. UPDATE: Returned the med and got the little one. They are too tight but still hit below the knees like mediums. This company has no idea how to size their clothes.
