Edit: 3/27/20 Update my review based on how the situation below has been resolved. Shortly after the review below I was contacted by Rita from Creality 3D and the support I received was excellent. We discussed the issues and about a day later she sent me a tracking number with a new replacement motherboard. I received the replacement motherboard in about a week (I'm sure it took that long due to shipping delays due to the COVID-19 outbreak) and they also included a free kilo of white filament which was nice. I now have a machine running with no issues and am very happy with how their support team handled this situation. Thanks Rita This printer is capable of incredible things and I was really surprised at how detailed the print quality was. But none of that really matters if the printer isn't working. I received it for the first time on 02/27/20 and now on 03/10/20 and the motherboard is blown. I turned on the printer, heard a loud click, and noticed the screen dim a little. I started looking through the main electrical box but couldn't find what was making the noise. After a few seconds I could smell burning electronics and quickly looked into one of the vents in the control box and saw a red glow coming from the logic board. immediately switched off the machine, unhooked it from the wall and opened it. That's when I discovered that one of the chips on the motherboard was burned out. I'm not entirely sure what to do next, but will update this review with the results of how Revain/Creality handled this case. I hope they ship a new motherboard or control box, but I'm not holding my breath. I am currently incredibly disappointed with this product and cannot in good conscience rate it at this time.
