Review on MEAN WELL RS 25 5 Supply Single by John Larsen

I cannot recommend this power supply more highly. I bought three of these to build retro computers. Although I installed a DC step-down converter to stabilize the current, it turned out to be completely useless as the power supply delivers a rock solid 5V DC. Wiring is quite simple. Mechanically, the case is very strong and is secured with M3 screws. The electronics are very efficient and my tests are exactly within the manufacturer's specifications at 2.5 amps, which is half the maximum current draw. The overall quality of the product is very high for the price. I will include these power supplies in my future electronic projects. They are much better than the cheap DC/DC converters that come in plastic cases and don't handle as much current as this product.
