Purchase these for my 2005 Dodge Ram pickup and use standard speaker spacers and speaker wire adapters (sold separately). ! Sound wise I was hoping for lower frequencies from my Alpine deck (unamplified) 18W x 4, but maybe if I add an external amp they will play lower frequencies? Kicker speakers are known for their bass, so I chose these speakers for the front doors, but deep bass takes power! The midrange is so clean that I actually tuned it down 1-2 registers on my Alpine deck and the highs were crisp. Due to many internal audio issues in different cars, such as weird noises, door opening size, speaker placement, etc., perfection is rarely achieved by putting a set of speakers in the doors, but over the years I've had many cars with many different speakers and this pair is worthy!
