My 1.5 year old boy has had chronic tears in his left eye almost since we adopted him at 4 months. Sometimes it flares up and both eyes water, especially in times of stress. The vet seems to think it could be chronic herpes. We recently adopted two homeless kittens. He loves her now but the first month or so was stressful for him which I think may have caused his recent outburst. If he eats one of these gummies every day, it *seems* to boost his immune system enough to soothe his little teary eye. He loves the smell. He's a burly, strong 12.5 pound boy, and these gummy bears are huge for him. If I lay it out for him, he has to break it into 3 pieces with his mouth to complete it. But he eats one every day and eating one every day really helps soothe his eye. My only concern is that if the bag is left unattended it will absolutely gnaw through the plastic and eat them all up. So I have to make sure they are always stored in a closed cupboard!
