Bought because my husband got a new chair and I inherited his old one which is still comfortable for me but looks very worn. I bought another type of foil that never worked properly, always slipped and looked dirty, so I decided to try this style. I'm so glad I did. My husband decided he needed a protective cover for his new chair, so he asked me to try it on for him. He loves to. The secure straps keep the seat in place without pulling or wrinkling no matter how many times he gets up and sits down. I had to get a little creative when fixing the foot. The way his chair is built: when I tightened the anchor straps to hold him in place, the leg was difficult to lift, so I cut a heavy rope in half, threaded it through an elastic loop, and tied it tight, so it stayed pretty taut. to keep the material smooth, but slightly raise the footrest. I also initially forgot to tighten the elastic seat loops under the seat cushion and loops around the legs to keep the seat nice and snug. Styrofoam chunks popped out and the seatback pulled up and rippled until I realized my mistake. Now everything is in place nicely and the tuckable foam pieces on the back and sides stay in place. You just have to remember that there are 2 sets of straps for a tight fit. We have 2 cats and have not had any hair problems. It will be easy to wash and now that I know how to put it on properly it will only take a few minutes. I will order more for my chair. It's also a great way to change the color of the stool. No more looking at the old brown chair. It was delivered quickly and met my expectations.
