Review on ☕ Technivorm KB 59691 Coffee Brewer, 40 oz, Brushed Silver by Brian Garrett

For the best tasting coffee, this is it!

Another reviewer wrote that someone looking for the best drip coffee maker can stop by this coffee maker. I totally agree. In the last 20 years I have bought and used at least 20 different models of coffee makers. These include about 4 different models of K-cup coffee maker, about 3 models of heated water filter coffee maker from a brand commonly used in restaurants, several German brands, etc. Technivorm Moccamaster makes the best coffee out of all these. There's no coffee maker that makes coffee hotter and brews coffee faster (heat water from room temperature, except on models with heated water). In addition, it is the quietest coffee maker, heating water from the ground up with no steam at the end. This is due to the design of the heating and water supply system. Some will find fault with its simple design, which doesn't allow you to pre-program the brew cycle. This is because no pre-programming is required. There really is no need for pre-programming for a coffee maker that brews a cup of coffee in 4.5 minutes. Some are concerned about the mug being stolen during the brewing cycle. Again, this feature is unnecessary for a brewer who brews so quickly. This particular model - the one I bought - has a manual drip control valve on the brew filter basket - for half flow and flow shut off. I find the flow cut-off very useful because I close the value of the basket before removing it from the coffee maker to remove the filter and empty the basket and no residual coffee drips during the process. Some models are equipped with an "automatic" coffee basket that allows you to do this. But if you really care about the taste of coffee, you won't secretly want to drink a cup before the entire brewing process is complete to get the best coffee taste. I recommend you to buy this model with a glass carafe. With double-walled steel carafes, a coffee crust forms inside over time that can no longer be removed. Again, those who care about the taste of coffee know that even the best coffee tastes awful if left too long, even in vacuum flasks. Coffee is best drunk within an hour. What I do is brew the coffee pot in a glass carafe, pour the first cup of coffee, and then pour the rest into a GLASS double vacuum thermos - the same one I had in my metal lunch box as a kid. It's for sale here on Revain. These glass bottles do not accumulate coffee sediment. Best regards and I believe it's worth the investment.
