It’s only been a few weeks, but it’s helping my trich better than anything I’ve ever tried—and with no bad side effects. The side effects I’m having aren’t a negative for me. My appetite has changed/decreased. This has been a little trouble because I really have a hard time wanting to cook for my family. There’s just nothing I want. I wouldn’t mind losing a few pounds, so not a bad thing. Also, I no longer enjoy wine. I used to "wine down” at night with 2 or 3 glasses. It was a comfort thing—reward for getting through the day. Not the healthiest habit. Taking the NAC, I don’t need it anymore. The appetite change and losing my need for wine were both unexpected and pretty dramatic, so I did some research. As it turns out, there is a lot of science and research behind this. I really wish I had tried this years ago. As I said, it’s only been about a month, so I’ll update if anything changes.
