However, remember that depending on the size of your phone, you may need more height need to add to get in the line of sight of your phone's camera lens.Overall the tripod is sturdy.I'm a little concerned that it might be blown away in my daily 8-10 mph desert winds as it's made from lightweight material The biggest problem is that, even when it's tilting and rotating, to get a full portrait photo or video with this tripod, so if you're filming yourself on video you might need to do a bit of editing to get all the empty space on either side of you. From the resulting landscape mode clip, deducting one star, the company could have easily solved the problem by including a portrait mode phone clamp in the packaging, but a tripod is worth yours Money!
