I bought these containers to store my hobby supplies (I don't store food in plastic) and am very disappointed with the size. I have a very specific space where I wanted to stack/store them so I based my purchase on the sizes listed. However, the dimensions shown in the diagram are WITHOUT COVERS. With the lids closed, these containers take up much more space. They are just over 2 inches high, 5 3/8 inches long and almost exactly 4 inches wide. Otherwise they are great containers. They are sealed very well, thick and strong plastic with great lockable lids and they don't spill any liquid at all. I've tried spilling liquid in them just to test as some of what I keep are different liquid mixes and they just don't leak. They get 100% on quality and 0% on their fake dimensions.
