Review on SeaSense 23957 Locking Collar Chrome by Troy Palmer

I bought this to fit SeaDoo for rear running light. I bought a SeaSense LED Adjustable Stern Light, 26-48" to connect to this base and they connect and work well. However, as for the locking mechanism mentioned in the description of both this base and the lamp post , then I'm either not smart enough to understand how it works or it just doesn't work.The two screws on the stem that are supposed to slide into the channel on the ring and line up the mounting contacts properly end up jamming the locking ring on the stem which should slide down the ring.Other than that the bar seems to fit nicely in the collar so I'm hoping it doesn't really need a lock.I'll update this review after a few times out on the water.
