This is really cool! That works great. You just need to turn your phone to landscape and in your TV settings you may need to switch to widescreen. It mirrors what you see on your phone, so the reason is in the settings. But after these minor adjustments, the image filled the TV screen and looked great! I just wanted it to be able to see my online workouts on a bigger screen than my phone screen and it serves that purpose. The only thing I don't like is the large block at the end of the cable in front of the HDMI connector, as the HDMI connectors on my TV are inward facing, so the HDMI connector didn't fit into one of the connectors because of that block ended up preventing it from fully occurring. Not sure what that block is for, rather than just being a straight cable to an HDMI port. So if your HDMI port is very close to other ports or cables, or if the ports are installed inwards, you just have to be careful as this connector may not fit properly or may not be able to be fully inserted. .
