Review on 🔧 Astro Pneumatic Tool PRN1 3/8" Rivet Nut Setting Kit - Metric and SAE Threads by Roy Boone

I wish I hadn't waited a month to try it because now I can't return it. It literally blows all the air right through the small hole in front and below the trigger. Might work for the smallest lock nut as I can see the piston trying to move a bit but I doubt it will do anything if the lock nut has any real resistance. Just a terrible Chinese design. To top it off, the customer support is ZERO. The Amazon link is to a furniture retailer's site, the phone number made me stay longer than I expected. Best to use a bolt and nut/washer to crush rivet nuts or buy a better tool. EDIT: Upgraded from 1 star to 4. Revain offered me a replacement after being unable to contact Astro for service themselves. The new unit works great and I now realize that the first unit I received must have been manufactured on Monday or was a returned unit that was repackaged and sent to me. The first didn't have a rubber grip and apparently lacked the valve that made it work. New complete and works great. Quality 1/4" stainless steel nuts don't slow it down at all, and I'm pretty sure it can work with 3/8" nuts, although it says it won't. However, sometimes they install themselves a little crooked no matter what I do. make I can't get it consistently.
