After reading other reviews I decided to go down a size from the size chart. My wrist is 7 inches in diameter and I went down a size. The thinnest part is the wrist and it's a little tight when I put it on my hand, but when it reaches one size, it fits my hand and wrist well and snugly, not too tight. . It provides the right amount of compression for my tendonitis. I thought I was going to tear part of my thumb from constantly putting on and taking off the sleeve. I wear it to work and take it off on my breaks to stretch my arm and give her the sleeve seams. I don't think I could accidentally tear off part of my thumb even if I pull really hard. The seams are so thick that I had to turn the sleeve inside out. It is more convenient to wear it inside out, it does not hurt to sew like that.
