I bought this item for my 83 year old father who recently fell. His doctor recommended sturdier shoes. I found this particular shoe online and my dad asked me to order it for him. He really likes the velcro and said they feel good even though the right shoe was a bit tighter on the foot than the left. He kept the shoes and continues to wear them. I also bought this brand for my 58 year old husband with laces instead of velcro. My husband loves the shoes and the brand very much. Thank you!
