I waited until I found a review with all 5 stars and then went for it. Unfortunately, like many other complaints, if I continued. That is unnecessary. It cooled about 35 inches fairly efficiently. It has also leaked regularly. Feature ads are heavily hyped in Apmazon's ads, which would make me question the ads now. If we could see all the competing models, someone would come up with a very cheap indoor cooler that's a few degrees better than mytower. Fan. [I've never used the remote control, so I can't comment on that.]
